- Source-of-funds and source-of-wealth assessment;
- Beneficial ownership verification;
- Sanctions and Politically Exposed Person (PEP) screening; and
- Ongoing transaction monitoring for the duration of the relationship.
CTV may, in its sole and absolute discretion, decline to accept a client, terminate an existing engagement, or suspend services where required to meet regulatory obligations or internal risk policies. No liability attaches to CTV for any such decision.
8. Sanctions Compliance
CTV does not engage with, and will not facilitate transactions involving, any person, entity, vessel, or jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions administered by:
- The United Nations Security Council;
- The European Union;
- His Majesty's Treasury (UK);
- The United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC); or

CTV screens all clients, counterparties, and beneficial owners against applicable sanctions lists at onboarding and on an ongoing basis. Any potential match triggers an enhanced review and, where required by law, a mandatory report to competent authorities.
9. Conflicts of Interest
CTV maintains a conflicts-of-interest policy governing situations in which CTV's own interests, or the interests of one client, may conflict with the interests of another client or counterparty. Where a potential conflict is identified:
- CTV will manage the conflict through appropriate disclosure to affected parties;
- Where disclosure alone is insufficient, through information barriers and operational segregation; or
- Where effective management is not possible, CTV will decline or recuse itself from the relevant mandate.
10. Complaints
CTV is committed to handling complaints fairly, promptly, and thoroughly. Complaints may be submitted:
- By email: ops@captechventures.net — please mark the subject line "Formal Complaint"; or
- By post: Capital Technology and Ventures Limited, Office Suite 1677, Level 16(A), Main Office Tower, Financial Park Labuan, Federal Territory of Labuan, Malaysia.
CTV will acknowledge all complaints within 5 business days of receipt and provide a substantive written response within 30 calendar days, or such shorter period as required by applicable law. Where a final response cannot be provided within 30 days, CTV will notify the complainant of the reason and the expected timeline for resolution.

This website, these terms of use, and any non-contractual obligations arising from or connected with them are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
Subject to the foregoing, the courts of the Federal Territory of Labuan shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with access to or use of this website, save where mandatory consumer protection legislation applicable in the user's jurisdiction of residence provides otherwise.
Nothing in these terms affects any rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your jurisdiction of residence that cannot be excluded or modified by agreement. For transaction-specific matters, governing law and dispute resolution shall be as agreed in the relevant engagement letter and transaction documentation.
12. Severability
If any provision of these terms of use is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
